How to Achieve Naturally Glowing Skin Without the Nasty chemicals!

Did you know that women apply an average of 12 personal care products per day to their face and bodies, which equates to an average of 168 chemicals?! Did you also know that your skin absorbs 60-80% of those chemicals into your body and bloodstream?! Although some chemicals are harmless, many are hormone disrupters, carcinogens and neurotoxins. Here is a simple way of achieving glowing skin without using a single nasty chemical!

MORNING ROUTINE:

  1. CLEANSE

You will want to begin and end every day by cleansing your face with a gentle cream cleanser that will remove daily pollutants, excess oils or make up whilst instantly comforting any delicate or sensitive skin.

Use a cleanser with Milk Thistle to help reduce redness and rosacea due to its anti-inflammatory properties. A cleanser with Elderflower will help protect against the sun, promote blood circulation and is packed with vitamins that firm the skin, improve complexion and evens out skin tone.

Recommended product:
GENTLE & NOURISHING CREAM CLEANSER with Aloe Vera | Rose Hip Oil | Elderflower | Jacaranda |Milk Thistle | Oat | Cucumber | Olive Leaf Extract | Chamomile

  1. TONE

After cleansing, you will want to tone your skin with a beautiful and hydrating toning mist. Keep it in your fridge for that extra refreshing boost. Use a toner that has Jacaranda in it to help hydrate, soothe and firm your skin. Ensure that it is alcohol-free

Recommended product:
HYDRATE & FIRM FACE MIST with Aloe Vera | Elderflower | Jacaranda | Rose Oil | Vitamin E | Radish Root

3. PROTECT YOUR EYES

Your eyes need your attention. Most people forget the eyes, or just use their regular moisturiser on them. There is a reason why your eyes show the earliest signs of premature aging; your skin around your eyes (including your lid) is far thinner and more delicate than on other parts of your body. This, along with the amount of work they do with blinking, squinting and expressing emotions, as well as UV rays, environmental stressors and lifestyle choices, are reason enough for you to start taking care of your eyes!

Choose an eye cream that contains; Cucumber Oil to soothe and reduce puffiness, Native Lemon Aspen to strengthen those capillary walls which help decrease the dark circles, Resveratrol to protect against UV and stress, and Sea Buckthorn to boost elasticity, hydration and reduces inflammation.

Recommended product:
REWIND AND REPAIR EYE CREAM with Seabuckthorn | Cucumber | Resveratrol | Lemon Myrtle | Red Wine | Lemon Aspen | Olive Leaf Extract | Jojoba Oil | Shea Butter | Vitamin E

4.  DAY SERUM

If you are not using serums- start NOW. Serums are the broccoli and kales for the skin. They are highly concentrated potions of nutrients and superfoods for your skin with a thin viscosity, meaning they are quickly absorbed!

Find a day serum with; Hyaluronic Acid which will hydrate and plump the skin tissues, Vitamin C that will brighten the skin's appearance instantly and a Plant-based Collagen that will help repair and strengthen the skin’s natural collagen and elastin.

Recommended Product:
REPAIR, BRIGHTEN & PLUMP DAY SERUM with Hyaluronic Acid | Collagen | Vitamin C | Radish Root

5. DAY CREAM

Now it’s time to seal in all the goodness with a moisturiser that will ensure to lock in the hydration for the rest of the day!

Use a moisturiser that contains Coconut Oil and Cocoa Butter to nourish and feed the skin, and Jacaranda to calm, soothe and promote collagen production (and reduce those fine lines). A moisturiser with Calendula contains anti-inflammatory, antifungal and antibacterial properties therefore will help soothe and heal the skin. Banksia Flower can help improve skin elasticity, strengthen capillaries and reduce inflammation.

Recommended Product:
HYDRATE AND GLOW MOISTURE LOCK FOR DAYS with Banksia Flower | Calendula | Jacaranda | Cocoa Seed Butter | Coconut Oil |

OPTIONAL

A) FACE MASK

1-2 times per week you want to be buffing, polishing and exfoliating your skin with a face mask. Do this between cleansing and toning.

A mask with Raw Oats, Pineapple and Coconut Powder buffs away dead skin cells, polishing the skin, leaving it softer and feeling purified. White Clay will gently exfoliate the skin, freeing it of all impurities and Papaya will help stimulate collagen production and elastin.

Recommended Product:
BUFF & POLISH EXFOLIATING GLOW MASK with Oats | Papaya | Pineapple |White Clay | Coconut Powder

EVENING ROUTINE:

Repeat Steps 1-3 as above.

4. NIGHT SERUM

Int he evening, you will want to use a night serum, that will absorb, heal and nourish your skin as you sleep, allowing you to wake up with super hydrated and glowing skin.

Choose a night serum with; Sea buckthorn to hydrate, increase elasticity and decrease inflammation, Shea Oil which hydrates dry and fragile skin and aids skin elasticity, and Gotu Kola which offers tissue regeneration, encourages collagen production, reduces scarring, and boosts the skin’s resistance to sagging

Recommended Product:
ADVANCED BEAUTY SLEEP NIGHT ELIXIR with Seabuckthorn Berry | Gotu Kola | Vitamin E | Jojoba Oil | Shea Oil | Mandarin | Rosemary Leaf Extract | Pink Lotus

5. NIGHT CREAM

To seal and lock in the goodness of the night serum, we need to apply a night moisturiser.

Choose a moisturiser that has Peptides as it increases cellular metabolism, improves collagen synthesis, reduces wrinkles, and smoothes and tones the skin. Native Sunflower Extract helps reduce sun damage and damage from other environmental stresses. Hyaluronic Acid will hydrate the skin. Allow these powerful ingredients to do their work whilst you sleep.

Recommended Product:
REJUVENATING PEPTIDE NIGHT CREAM with Peptide | Hyaluronic Acid | Co-Enzyme Q10 | Native Snow Flower | Aloe Vera | Cacao Butter | Rosehip Oil | Vitamin E | Chamomile

OPTIONAL

B) MICRO-NEEDLE DERMAL ROLLER

You can choose to follow your night serum with a Micro-needle Dermal Roller. This is a roller of hundreds of microneedles that create little pathways into the layers of your skin for your serum to flow, increasing product penetration and absorption by up to 40%. It can also help stimulate collagen production, diminish fine lines and wrinkles and is effective for uneven skin tone, facial scars and pigmentation.

You can choose to place a second layer of serum on after application for an extra boost. Do this 1-2 times per week for optimal results. Ensure that the needles are no longer than 0.3mm as this is the safest length you can use at home without needing a medical professional.

Recommended Product:
